At Daybreak Counseling, P.C. our mission is to help our clientele obtain and utilize the necessary skills that will empower and improve their lives by making lasting changes… spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Daybreak Counseling was founded to assist others in achieving a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Established on the principle of offering hope to individuals, we integrate tools and guidance to define and apply strategies for successful and positive living.


Rosalie Craft | Owner and Director

Counselor, MA, LPC, NCC


Rosalie Craft is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is board certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. She received her Master of Arts Degree in 2002 from Oakland University and obtained her Clinical Supervision Certification in 2005.
Rosalie has over 23 years experience with treating individuals who suffer with trauma-based disorders, anxiety, grief and depression. She uses a gentle, collaborative approach while working with individuals, couples and families. She builds meaningful relationships by incorporating trust and confidentiality when assisting her clients with developing the necessary skills for long-term recovery.
Rosalie enjoys providing clinical supervision to Limited Licensed Professional Counselors as well as those seeking counseling internships. Rosalie is accepting a limited number of new clients at this time. Please contact our office and we will help schedule you with one of our other therapists if needed.

Kathryn Declaire |Intern and Life Coach


Kathryn DeClaire is a Master’s level graduate student attending Spring Arbor University. She is beginning her Internship at Daybreak Counseling and brings six years of clinical experience as a Life Coach. In 2019 she obtained her certification as a Certified Professional Coach. Kathryn also brings invaluable experience from working in a school-based setting, where she has supported children’s social, emotional, and behavioral development through a collaborative and strengths-based approach.
Kathryn’s counseling style emphasizes personal growth, goal setting, and self-awareness. She helps individuals of all ages navigate through life’s challenges and heal from trauma-based experiences. Using her strengths-based and collaborative approach, she helps clients build resilience, confidence and practical tools for long-term recovery and well-being.
Kathryn believes meaningful change happens through connection, trust and consistency. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe, understood and empowered.

Vicki Wright |Counselor

MA, LPC, CRC


Vicki Wright is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated in 2002 from Wayne State University with a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. This is a specialized area in processing disability barriers and adjusting to change to prepare for, obtain, and maintain vocational success. Mixed with this specialty is a focus on counseling and guidance. This is most helpful to someone who has a disability and faces challenges due to outside perception or feeling disempowered.
Vicki couples empathy and empowerment with a true desire to meet people where they are in life transitions, adjustment and steps towards healing. Vicki will walk alongside you and help you gain the necessary tools to positively impact your emotional health, personal value and overall well-being. Effective communication is foundational in her work with clients to reinforce behavioral changes and goal achievement. Techniques include but are not limited to the use of motivational interviewing, person centered approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy. Vicki’s goal is for you, the client, to be as comfortable as possible and build mutual trust. Consideration, acceptance, active listening, and support are offered each session at no extra charge!
Vicki skillfully and thoughtfully adapts to meet the needs of teens, adults, and couples. Clients are the experts of their experiences and have insight to develop sustainable strategies. Vicki is here to help you feel empowered while promoting your personal growth and equipping you with strategies without judgement, pressure, or stigma. You will have regular take aways to keep the momentum flowing toward the version of yourself that you envision.

Christa Praschan |
Office Manager & Administrative Assistant


Christa Praschan is the Office Manager and Administrative Assistant. She has been serving in this capacity for eight plus years. She oversees and is responsible for all billing processes, verifying insurance plans, and maintaining client and staff schedules. Her warm and welcoming demeanor offers clients a comforting experience each time they are here.
In addition to her administrative duties, she has obtained her Biblical Lay Counseling Certificate from Moody Bible Institute in May of 2022. In October 2025 she completed her Mental Health Coach Certification through Light University and is continuing her education to obtain a Professional Mental Health Coach Certification. Once completed, these certifications will allow Christa to work one-on-one with clients.
